I'm writing a book to help kids learn entrepreneurship.

When COVID hit, my wife and I made the decision to home school our 7 and 10 year old kids for the year. While both keeping full time jobs.

It was one of the most difficult but most rewarding things we’ve ever done.

Our curriculum included most of the things you typically think of. Math, writing, science, history, and grammar were weekly staples.

But the ONE thing I wanted to make sure we included was entrepreneurship.

But it’s safe to say it was not a normal lemonade stand. We didn’t put a card table out with a handwritten sign in front of our house.

  • Our lemonade stand had a brand and a logo.
  • It had a website.
  • It had lawn signs.
  • They did market research and sourced ingredients to maximize profit.
  • They had custom packaging.
  • They priced it 10x higher than every other lemonade stand we saw.
  • They had a spreadsheet tracking their revenues and costs.

Throughout the summer dozens of parents asked me how we did all of this. I've even had teachers and educators ask for the curriculum.

I wanted to give them their kids the same feeling I gave my own. And so I decided to write this book.

I'm going to walk you through the exact curriculum we did with our kids. I'll also include links to all the worksheets, templates, and spreadsheets we used to manage the business.

The plan is to launch the book in Spring of 2022. If you'd like to be one of the first to read it, just reply to this email and I'll send you my early release.

If you know people who you think would benefit from a book like this, please send them to this page so they can get early access as well.

New Podcast - Levels Health

Levels Health is looking to transform our relationships with our bodies using continuous glucose monitoring to better understand our metabolic health.

I was a very early beta tester of Levels and can speak to how it changed the way I approach eating, sleep, and stress management.

In this conversation we discuss why Levels made the decision to go direct to consumer, why they believe a closed signup process is better for startups early on, what they’ve learned about user behavior with wearable devices, why they invested in organic channels from the beginning, and much more.

As always, would love to hear your thoughts. If you enjoy it, please leave a review!

New Site!

For a long time I've felt like my site was getting long in the tooth. I finally had an opportunity to start the process of migration over the holiday break, and happy to have it finally ready.

It was also an opportunity to consolidate. Previously my site was on Wordpress, and I maintained two separate mailing lists on Mailchimp and Revue. It was unnecessary complexity.

I've migrated to Ghost, and I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with the platform. The publishing tools are beautiful, and it integrates my site content and my newsletter without a hitch.

At least I think it's without a hitch. If you see anything on the site that looks off, I'd love to hear about it. 😊

And if you've been wanting to use this as an opportunity to unsubscribe, it won't hurt my feelings (maybe a little). The link's at the bottom of this email.

Expanded Crypto 101 Course

Thank you all for the feedback on the Crypto 101 course. The feedback was mostly positive, but there was one big complaint: not everyone likes videos.

So I listened, and went ahead and wrote narrative versions of the content to supplement the videos.

The result is 90+ minutes of video and over 10,000 words of content. Hopefully will work for you regardless of your learning style.

You can check out the expanded course here. Still free, just as before.

If you think someone would benefit from the material, please send them over!

Thanks for Reading!

As always, if you have ideas for how to make this better, please let me know. Thanks for being in my life ❤.
