This is really cool - I’m still pulling for the Cavs, but to hear someone like Russell talk about Garnett like that… lots of people win championships. This would almost be better.

Being from LA area, to see this video gave me alot of emotion. The feeling of cheers/hopes/dreams I’m a truly proud fan of the CELTICS in the NBA. This shows a leader learning from a legand. I would like to see a Laker and Celtic rivalry one more time. The Best in the NBA 2008
That would be a great series… I can’t help pulling for the underdog though (crazy the underdog went to the Finals last year.)
My love both sides of this conversation. I love that someone like Garnett who has such amazing talent remains humble - he carries himself really well - something I know I could certainly learn to do better.
The other side is Russel - a guy who’s done everything one could accomplish in the game, who’s earned everyone’s respect… I could imagine plenty of people who’ve reached the pinnacle of their profession holding it over people. Could you imagine Donald Trump or Bill Gates or even Michael Jordan saying something like that?
Makes my skin tingle…
