An inconvenient truth

This is not a Republican or Democrat or Chinese or American or Christian or Muslim or Jewish or Agnostic issue. Try to see this movie and not be absolutely convinced that you have a moral imperative to do something about it, to make a difference in some way in your own life. It really is that important.

I beg you to see this movie.

Got your email on this the other day.

I don’t disagree with the theory of global warming, and have no opinion on the topic because I haven’t studied the facts to base my own conclusion as to the causes that affect GW. I will eventually get to see the movie, and I will be skeptical, but attentive, of any info Al Gore (or a republican for that matter) or anyone else tells me, one way or the other, because everyone has an agenda, especially when you mix politicians with hollywood, not that either of those industries ever skews truths. What I do know is the glaciers melting concerns me, the rising temps and bad storms are something to educate ourselves on, etc., but I want hard facts, studies and reports to come from groups that aren’t being supported by political groups, interest groups, big-name celebrities, or anyone else that wants people to know that above all else, they’re hypothesis is right, so they look like a hero.

I’m not arguing against anyone or anything, so don’t yell at me, I’m just saying that this topic is the “next big scare”, and right or wrong (and it could very well be right so I’m not saying it isn’t) I’m just not ready to ostrasize anyone that isn’t sending money to the stopglobalwarming.org website. We’ve been studying cancer for years and years and years and no one’s sounded the alarm as to a cause or cure, but every year we get a little closer and you can trust that the time vested in the research is aiding in educating our doctors toward narrowing the struggle we go through to help patients. My hope is that after years and years and years of studies on GW we will be that much closer to understanding the many many causes that affect our earth negatively so that we can ease the struggle our children may have to go through to keeping the earth healthy, but to sound the alarm after the first tri-mester just makes me more skeptical than an alarm that would be sounded if cancer info was released. Don’t look deeper into my opinion than that of what it is, just a pre-thought.
